God Gives Opportunities

Have you seen " Evan Almighty "?  Yeah, it's an old old film. It's a 2007 fantasy/religious/comedy film about a Newscaster who won a seat in the Congress and God asks him to create an ark to prepare for a flood. It's not best movie Steve Carrell I would say has done but there are a few things I wanted to share with you that I have learned. I remember from the movie when God mentioned, when you pray to have patience, God won't give you patience but an opportunity to be patient instead. If you pray to have time with your family, God won't give you extra hours but an opportunity to be with your family. We have to realize that this has been the opportunity we were praying for. For years I have been praying and praying for a lot of opportunities, these are examples - 1. Time with my family 2. Catch up with some friends 3. Work not to please people but to glorify God 4. To start my own family Of course God won't give me those prayers ...

Holy Week Pilgrimage 2016

We were praying and fasting and walking. I almost gave up. I asked Argie to stop several times. I thought of riding a cab instead of walking then I realized we've been walking and 8 kilometer walk is just nothing compared to what Jesus has done on the cross. Argie has been holding my hand all throughout and he has been really supportive. We our faith and continue walking. It took us 4 hrs to get there. While walking, I recalled how tough first quarter was for me and what are the things I could have done differently.  It was a realization that no matter what challenges I have encountered, I will always have to hold on and keep my faith in God, I know for sure, we will achieve our goals and I am excited for it! This season has reminded me again to be humble, forgiving,  faithful and trusting to God. Hope you were able to spend quality time with your family this holiday and you were able to find the true meaning of Lent. God bless! 👼😇🙇

Psalm 23

I am overzealous on this word! Read this word for word and repeat several times until it gets into you. Aren't you amazed too, with God's promises here? He will be our shepherd - he will guide us, he will lead us. We will have everything we need for a life worth living: "I grow tired... He restores my soul. The valley is long and lonesome... He is with me. I'm anxious ... The rod and the staff will comfort me. I fear death... I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. And on and on..." All of us need a renewing power for life. Like David that is sometimes difficult to confess. But when we admit our weakness, God supplies His supernatural strength. I hope as this holy season ends, may you continue to realize how God loves us and that we draw our strength from Him. He will never fail us. God bless you! Good night. #word #reflections #godisgood #psalm23 posted from Bloggeroid

Keep On Moving Forward

They say "time flies without saying goodbye." Moons have gone by so fast and the first quarter of 2015 is almost over. How was your year so far? God has taught me a lot of things this quarter and I am humbled with all the blessings He has given me. I am always grateful with a team that are truly dependable and results - driven. My ever supportive family who has always been there for me; friends you can always count on; Argie, who is indeed a Gift. 43 days to go and I am about to enter another chapter of my life. I know it is not going to be easy but for sure, God is always on our side. posted from Bloggeroid

The Passion Flower

The passion flower's components are said to symbolize the story of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, according to the 'Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center'. Prayer for 2015!

Lord, thank you so much for all that you have done for me, my fiancé, my coworkers, my friends, my relatives and my family. Your hand on our lives is so much more than we could ask for, and your blessings are so greatly appreciated. I know, Lord, that you have seen our challenges, wept at our weaknesses, and rejoiced in our successes. May you continuously guide us and bless us in 2015! 💝 posted from Bloggeroid

Sagittarius in 2015

Who can not be this excited in 2015?!? What a great year to be a Sagittarius! With so much admiration, respect, and authority coming your way, it could be hard to remember to be modest. Make the effort, though, be gracious and understated, and people will regard you all the more. http://astrology.horoscope.com/horoscope/mobile/mobile-index-horoscopes.aspx?s=9&type=yearlyhoroscopes posted from Bloggeroid

Birthday Syndrome

Missing this view. Yung sa lawak ng lupaing ito, more than jogging, mas masarap matulala, magmuni-muni at mag senti. Yung mag-iisip-isip ka 'What have you done differently this year?' 'What have you accomplished?' 'What are your challenges?' and 'What are you thankful for?' Yung maiisip mo na lang na of all the drama you've gone through this year, you've been stronger and you became a better person. That you are ready to face the world again and to keep on moving forward. 😃👍👊🙌 #birthdaysyndrome #senti #jetjetadventures #argiesbackyard #keepthefaith #goodvibes

God Is Working On You

Hebrews 12:6 NIV "because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Sometimes we tend to complain about our challenges without realizing that God is trying to teach us a lesson. He has his ways to straighten us out. He made us; therefore, He knows us better than anyone else. We just have to accept the fact that the Lord's discipline is for our own good. posted from Bloggeroid

Why I have Stayed in The Call Center Industry for 10 Years

WHY I HAVE STAYED IN THE CALL CENTER INDUSTRY FOR 10 YEARS By Jethsel M. Allego While many of you think that working in the Call Center /BPO Industry is your last option – yeah, when other “known” industry has rejected you because of lack of experience, training, knowledge,   skills or what have you’s – then you have “our” industry as a resort. Never that you have realized that being in this industry would require you a lot of skills,   not just good oral communications, to pass all the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) or Metrics set by the management. Your work here is just simple – follow your schedule shift and break hours on time, ensure you provide the most accurate information or resolution to your callers/customers, and if needed, provide additional products and services that they can take advantage of. And for you who have been in the industry, yeah, it is simple and you know that meeting all these requirements would entail a lot of dedication, ...

Please Hear What I'm Not Saying

Don't be fooled by me. Don't be fooled by the face I wear For I wear a mask, a thousand masks, Masks that I'm afraid to take off And none of them is me.  Pretending is an art that's second nature with me, but don't be fooled, for God's sake don't be fooled. I give you the impression that I'm secure, that all is sunny and unruffled with me, within as well as without, that confidence is my name and coolness my game, that the water's calm and I'm in command and that I need no one, but don't believe me. My surface may be smooth but my surface is my mask, ever-varying and ever-concealing. Beneath lies no complacence. Beneath lies confusion, and fear, and aloneness.  But I hide this. I don't want anybody to know it. I panic at the thought of my weakness exposed. That's why I frantically create a mask to hide behind, a nonchalant sophisticated facade, to help me pretend, to shield me from the gl...

Have You Lost Your Focus?

Find the man in the coffee beans We all know how important it is to focus on what we want. But what happens when we LOSE focus? It's easy to do, isn't it? We get distracted. Something captures our interest and diverts our attention away from our chosen objective. We suffer setbacks. Things don't work out as planned. Someone lets us down. Circumstances change and good plans go bad. We get interrupted. An important matter takes precedence--sometimes for long periods of time. We, or members of our team, get sick or hurt. We don't have the energy we had before and often find it slow to get back in the game. These things happen to everyone. And we have to be careful we don't think we're being singled out. The "Why is this happening to me?" question gets us nowhere. We must first recognize that we've lost focus. And at the earliest opportunity, we must recommit. We have to get back on the horse we fell off from and ride agai...

21 Rules to Be Happy

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. FOUR. When you say, "I love you," mean it. FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married. SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight. EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much. NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. TEN.. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives. TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly. THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?" FOURTEEN. Remember th...
