Cebu - Where my heart is!

Cebu City

Travel Date: Sept 12 - 13, 2014

No, it wasn't my first time in Cebu.

In 2007, I have volunteered to be relocated in Cebu when ePerformax was expanding. I kinda felt that it was a good move for me back then and I really felt that something's up for me in this place.

Cebu gave me the liberty to know myself better; to know what I really wanted in life, taught me lessons of life beyond words and imagination. It was a mixed feeling of lost and love. I hated and loved Cebu at the same time. Only time can tell.

This is going to be my first travel after my break up and i feel so strange and aggressive booking this flight. "I am going to meet someone's family and stay with them for a couple of days" This has lingered my mind all through out.

I wasn't really sure why i booked that pricey ticket, all I have in mind is to shy away from the busy buzz in Manila and all my issues in the office. I thought, "This is going to be a break for me".

I wanted to be with Argie for the weekend. That's what we do. That's what we've been doing for the last 4 weeks. Maybe I got used to his company that's why I wanted to be with him again. Come on, he will be in Cebu for one week pro'lly fix some errands and go back to Manila again. But I can't help but follow him. So I did.

I loved it when he picked me up at the airport. He was an hour earlier than my arrival. Speaks about the guy's excitement and enthusiam, I guess.

His nieces and nephews had a 'welcoming presentation' for me - a song and dance number - which is sooo sweet, I should say. I think he has a great family. God-centered, family-loving individuals who values relationship and God - which is very important. I applaud his parents for raising such great children, and grand- children. I really like them. I just hope they liked me too.

Met up with his cousin, Victor and gf Daphne (who happens to be Argie's X's bff) so I was very curious and excited at the same time. We had a great dinner ar Abuhan Tres and after dinner wine session at La Vie Parisienne - and the ambiance totally nailed it. It was indeed FASCINATING!

And I remember exactly what I told Daphne why I went to Cebu - It wasn't exactly to follow Argie, but "I wanted to go back where my heart is".

Hindi ako iiyak. Hindi rin ako mag-kekwento sayo kung gaano akong nasaktan nung iniwan ako ng walang-hiyang **** na yun! Hahaha. :) Here you can listen to my heart and feel my breathe. Naks. Nakakatuwa lang, inspired ulit akong magsulat. Feel ko ulit sumulat ng kung anu-ano, madaming-madami. Sana basahin mo. Very nice. I in...

PRAYER

I find this picture so interesting. This was taken at the plane when Eman and PJ are on their way to Cebu. This has melted my heart and gave me a realization that with all the things going on right now, we just always need to pause - and pray. Let me share with you one scripture that i have read today from Jon Orana of www.topbibleverses.com and helped me understand a lot of things. Psalm 17:5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. Burt had worked in high-rise construction all his life. Everyday he would walk the girders high above the ground with apparent ease. In his lifetime he had seen a number of men plunge from the girders due to a mere moment of carelessness. As for himself, he knew he had been lucky. Each morning he began work only after saying a short prayer, asking the Lord to watch his movements through the day, keeping him safe from any mishap. Though most of us never do anything as dangerous or risky as high-rise construction, we do stand in d...
