Instructions: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

1. I love to travel and I love to see places. I love learning new things and discover interesting facts about the places I see and the people I meet. I went to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte a couple of weeks ago and had a lot of fun with some friends. (I exactly remember how amazing it was when I first had my Tour of Ilocos in 2000). I can travel alone or with someone else. Next stop: BICOL!

2. I am just excited to sign the contract of my new property! Whew! Finally fruit of hard work. :)

3. I am learning a new skill - playing the guitar! Tomas (my Guitar) has been there for me always! Coach has been very patient in teaching me. I know I wasn't as fast learner as he can be but I know I am learning. And thanks for being so patient! Mwah! :). It wasn't easy but I understood it better when the chords and frets where translated into Columns and Rows; and that major chords are like Basic Functions I can always utilize. Cool!

4. We are working on an Indie Film and hoping to have it done this year. :) LIMBO.

5. "Last Order sa Belinni's is finally done and I am hoping to have it published this year. Need an editor and a publisher. Anyone? ;)

6. I have a "Severe Hearing Loss for both ears" and I am challenged in this situation. I keep my faith that everything will be back to normal after all the medications and prayers. I don't know what happened there, or should I say, I am not sure if it was my fault or the doctor's fault, whoever made a mistake, i know this is meant to happen.

7. "I have a heart, and it's bleeding." I always say that. Yes, really, my heart has been broken several times. It's been hard moving on and letting go despite the fact that I've experienced it sooo many times. It's still not easy. But I still manage to keep my sanity. :) Keep on moving forward and love to love! ;)

Be Grateful

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trails to make you strong, enough sorrow to k...

Why Jaywalking?

Why is crossing the street in the wrong place called "jaywalking"? Published with Blogger-droid v2.0.6 In the early 1900s, the word "jay" was slang in the U.S. for a hick, rube, or simpleton -- in other words, a person inexperienced in the ways of the bright lights in the big city. Wordsmiths believe the term "jaywalking" (or "J-walking") originated when cars were relatively new but gaining popularity in cities like Boston and New York. A jaywalker was a newcomer to the city, green to the ways of those modern traffic signals that told folks when they could safely cross the road. The complete Oxford English Dictionary traces the origin of the word to early 20th-century Boston, where sophisticated city folk with little tolerance for rural folk coined the term. In those days, jaywalkers would have encountered Model T's tooling along at the break-neck speed of 20 mph. Today's urban lawbreakers face greater risks, with sports cars, SUVs, ...
