Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. If you were presented with an opportunity to do something great - to really leave a mark on the world and make a difference, would you take it? I think that most people would, I know that I certainly would. 🙌 Perhaps the reason that most people don’t end up doing this is because of the personal price that needs to be paid. One thing I’ve certainly learned for myself is that if I want to be able to influence other people and things around me I first need to be able to influence myself. If I want to create change around me, I need to start with myself. Just Today

Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours - your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can't have what you like, maybe you can like what you have. Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it's just for one day. Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.
