Horoscope 2013 - Great Year For Me!

In my search for an idea on what's gonna happen to a Sagittarius girl and the so-called Chinese horoscope of Year of the Dog in 2013, this is what i have got:

http://sagittarius2013.com/sagittarius2013.htm
  • The moon in Leo brings a need for self-realization. You feel encouraged to do what you want to do, no matter what others might think about it or what your duties dictate. That's no problem for Sagittarius.
  •  Summing it up, the Sagittarius drive is to spend life reaching as far from the place of birth as ever possible - regarding location as well as personal experience. The year 2013 offers good opportunity for this, as long as you manage to stay clear of the social events that seem to occupy other people the most.

Year of the Dog
  • The biggest problem with the Dog person is their temper. Most Dog people for most of the time are even tempered and patient. But, if the Dog person is pushed too far, they can react badly. It may not be the fault of the Dog person but the reaction can be quite severe.Push them too far and they will bite back. The Dog person can also be moody at times. If things do not go their way, they may sulk and keep to themselves.
  • For the person born in the Year of the Dog 2013 should be a good year as their friendliness and loyalty is rewarded
  • If you are careful and think things through, 2013 should be a good year.

Be Grateful

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trails to make you strong, enough sorrow to k...

Why Jaywalking?

Why is crossing the street in the wrong place called "jaywalking"? Published with Blogger-droid v2.0.6 In the early 1900s, the word "jay" was slang in the U.S. for a hick, rube, or simpleton -- in other words, a person inexperienced in the ways of the bright lights in the big city. Wordsmiths believe the term "jaywalking" (or "J-walking") originated when cars were relatively new but gaining popularity in cities like Boston and New York. A jaywalker was a newcomer to the city, green to the ways of those modern traffic signals that told folks when they could safely cross the road. The complete Oxford English Dictionary traces the origin of the word to early 20th-century Boston, where sophisticated city folk with little tolerance for rural folk coined the term. In those days, jaywalkers would have encountered Model T's tooling along at the break-neck speed of 20 mph. Today's urban lawbreakers face greater risks, with sports cars, SUVs, ...
