Mr. and Mrs. Rustans

He is Jeff and I don't know the lady's name. I wasn't able to ask.

I was dead in a hurry because it's 7:45pm. I need to go back to Araneta by 8pm because we need to go to Makati, and I was still in Rustan's waiting for Mr. Wrapper to wrap the Mushabelly Chatter. I was supposed to buy the Book "The Definitive Book of Body Language" by Allan and Amanda Pease for Vivek but unfortunately, I can't find a copy so I decided to get the stuffed toy instead hoping that he will like it. (And i'm happy he did)

Anyway, tight schedule. Yeah. Really. Mr. Wrapper was really in demand that time so I decided to ask for a plastic bag instead and leave the store. Then Mr. and Mrs. Rustans volunteered to wrap the gift. They immediately got a piece of green gift wrapping paper, a ribbon, a pair of scissors, a scotch tape and viola! My gift has been wrapped. ☺

I really appreciate the kind of customer service I got from Mr. and Mrs. Rustans. I was really thankful they were there willing to help. Great job!

Be Grateful

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trails to make you strong, enough sorrow to k...
If you were presented with an opportunity to do something great - to really leave a mark on the world and make a difference, would you take it? I think that most people would, I know that I certainly would. 🙌 Perhaps the reason that most people don’t end up doing this is because of the personal price that needs to be paid. One thing I’ve certainly learned for myself is that if I want to be able to influence other people and things around me I first need to be able to influence myself. If I want to create change around me, I need to start with myself. I can’t take my same old self into a bright new future - I’ll only darken it. 💥 The good news is that if I put proper focus on changing myself, on growing and learning and developing my skills - my potential will be unlimited. 💪 **** picture below is my inspiration. It's a dream come true to enter The Asian Institute of Management as a student. This happened in 2018 when I was enrolled by my prior company to an Executive Development...
