Vacation Leave

My 10-day vacation in Manila was a reunion of relationships and celebration of memories. My friend asked me, 'why do you need to meet all your friends were in fact you’re on vacation?' I told her, 'that's the thing- this vacation is all about meeting my family and old friends; and remembering the things that I have been doing. Be in places that I have been and used to go, eat the food I used to eat and most especially be with the people that I missed the most. They made my stay in Manila so meaningful and memorable.

A Short Story

She doesn’t know what happened. She woke up one day; everyone hates her and don’t like her. She can’t do anything for the people to forget the past. She admitted she made a mistake and she tried to catch up on things and move on. They can’t forget James and they can’t seem to forgive her. She’s been asking, “What do I need to do? People have been so nosy about my stories and my life. Why do they care about me?” Matt has been saying a lot of things about her & yet she still tried to befriend him. “Is it my problem that all the while I thought we were friends and he bluntly said in my face that he never treated me one?” she cries. She can’t understand why Matt can’t deal with her anymore. She doesn’t know exactly how she have hurt or offended him that turned his back on her. And he didn’t even mention anything to her so they can work on it. All the while she was trying to find the root-cause of her problem and until now that she has realized that she doesn’t have to look that...

If You've Ever Felt Like Quitting

Dear Jeth, I have. You get down, you're having challenges, and you ask yourself, "Is this worth it." There's a part of you that feels like 'throwing in the towel'. Calling it a day. Quitting on your dreams. I've been there. It took me 7 years. 7. To see 'the way'. So, if you're having challenges, if you're frustrated, at whatever level you're at, I understand. I do. Big time. I want to share an excerpt from one of my favorite books, Think and Grow Rich, by the GREAT Napoleon Hill. After you read this, I want you to FEEL a renewed -SURGE- in your mind, body, and soul that YOU can achieve your goals. That you can own the house you want, take 2 more vacations a year, live on a boat for 6 months if you want, my point being. Designing and living the LIFE you desire, got it? From 'Think and Grow Rich' (Chapter 1). Before success comes in any person's life, they are sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failur...

Things to Remember When Life Doesn't Go Your Way

HOLD OUT FOR THE GREAT TIMES. "You have no idea what could be waiting for you right around the bend, on the other side of the place where you go stuck" IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO START OVER & GET IT RIGHT. Coco Chanel introduced her signature woman's suit at 71 & Col Harland Sanders aka Mr. KFC put up his famous fastfood chain at 61. WE'VE GOT NOTHING BUT TIME, & IT'S ON OUR SIDE. There's an opportunity to repeat & re-create life. Get up & start working on that next, better chapter in your life.

New Hair Look

Sabi kasi mukha na daw akong trenta. Siyempre di ko matanggap diba? Sino ba naman ang matutuwa na sa murang edad ko eh sasabihan mo ko na mukha na kong trenta?! A short hair style that suits me and my lifestyle that has dramatically changed the way i feel and look-- it has boost my confidence, make me look younger, and reduce the amount of time and money i spend on hair care. There are many factors to consider when choosing a short hair style. I have always believed that the perfect style can only be achieved when you've considered all the variables. For instance, your new short hair cut should match your personality, career, lifestyle, time constraints, body shape, face shape, hair texture, hair density, eye color, and skin tone. And it should create a sense of balance between your head, face, and body.

Beyond

It feels good when you've done something you think you could never do or when you don't want to do. Overcoming your own fears and facing your own shadow is one hard thing to do. And yet, i've made it.
